How to Use Speech Bubble Clipart

In Canva

Upload the PNG, drag it onto the design, resize from a corner. Add a text element on top and set its width slightly narrower than the bubble. For a bubble on the right of a character, flip the image horizontally so the tail points the other way.

In PowerPoint and Google Slides

Insert → Picture. Keep the bubble on its own layer above the photo, then add a text box. Group the bubble and the text so they move together, and duplicate the group for a second speaker.

On worksheets

Use the white comic set or the blank printables so students can write inside. Two bubbles side by side make a dialogue exercise; a thought cloud next to a photo makes a "what is she thinking?" prompt. Print at 100%, not "fit to page", to keep the outline crisp.

In Word and Google Docs

Insert the PNG, set text wrapping to "In front of text" (Word) or "In front of text" in Docs image options, then place a text box over it. Docs keeps the transparency, so the bubble can sit over a photo.

Is this speech bubble clipart free?
Yes. All 50 images on this page are free to download and free to use in personal, classroom and commercial projects. No sign-up, no watermark, and attribution is welcome but not required. See the licence page for the one thing you cannot do: resell the raw clipart as a pack.
What file format is the clipart?
Every file is a PNG with a real transparent background at 1440 × 960 pixels. That is large enough for a full slide or an A4 printout and still small enough to drop into Google Slides, Canva or Word without resizing.
How do I add speech bubble clipart in Canva?
Download the PNG, open your Canva design, click Uploads, drag the file in, then drag it onto the canvas. Resize from the corners to keep the proportions, and add a text box on top for the words. The transparent background means only the bubble shows.
How do I insert speech bubble clipart in PowerPoint or Google Slides?
In PowerPoint use Insert → Pictures → This Device and pick the PNG; in Google Slides use Insert → Image → Upload from computer. Both keep the transparency. To flip the tail to the other side, use the Flip Horizontal option under Arrange or Image Options.
Can I change the colour of the clipart?

Is the clipart vector or raster?
